Fahed Faisal Boodai
Chief Executive Officer
Fahed Boodai is the co-founder and Chairman of Gatehouse Financial Group and CEO of Gatehouse Bank plc. With more than 19 years’ experience in the global real-estate market, he has presided over diverse real estate acquisitions and exits totalling more than US$3 billion. Mr Boodai holds an MBA from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, California and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business from the University of San Diego. He also occupies a number of external board and director positions. Mr Boodai’s family maintains overall control of the Boodai Corporation, a Kuwait-based holding company with diverse interests including construction, engineering and global real estate.
Chief Financial Officer
Twalha Dhunnoo became Chief Financial Officer in April 2011and joined the Board shortly afterwards as an Executive Director. Mr Dhunnoo originally joined Gatehouse as Head of Finance, Operations & IT in September 2007. Alongside the leadership team, he played an important development role and managed the FSA authorisation process that led to Gatehouse Bank obtaining its banking licence in April 2008. Earlier in his career, Mr Dhunnoo held various London-based roles with Ernst & Young, Mellon Bank and Deutsche Bank. He holds a Masters degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants for England & Wales.
Abdulaziz Al Duweesh
Chief Investment Officer
Abdulaziz Al Duweesh joined Gatehouse in April 2012. With over 18 years’ experience in the investment banking industry, Mr Al Duweesh established his career at the National Investment Company in Kuwait. During this time, he has specialised in senior management roles covering asset management, international equities and hedge fund activity across US and European markets. Mr Al Duweesh is also an executive member of several corporate boards with an emphasis on the energy investment and IT sectors.
Executive Vice President
Mohaimin joined Gatehouse as General Counsel in October 2015. He is a UK qualified solicitor with more than 15 years in-house experience with Sharia compliant banks in the UK and GCC, having held senior positions at Al Hilal Bank, EIIB, Dubai Islamic Bank and Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. He has experience in both corporate and transactional law and has worked on establishment and listing of a Bank, issue of sukuk, financing, funds and private equity. He also has experience of international litigation and dealing with regulators.
