Gatehouse successfully completed its initial £100m Private Rented Sector (PRS) scheme between November 2014 and February 2017 in partnership with Sigma Capital. This created a portfolio of 918 new rental homes, which are let, across 15 sites in Greater Manchester and Merseyside.
Gatehouse embarked on the second phase of its PRS investment with Sigma Capital in December 2015, comprising a further £100m investment. This project is well under way with new homes being built on sites across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and the West Midlands. Through efficient access to capital markets, the second phase can create a portfolio in excess of £200m, thus providing a PRS scheme with £300m exposure to the fast growing UK private rented sector.
The ground-breaking joint venture has created one of the first large scale PRS portfolios of family homes in the UK.
