Job Summary:

To identify, build and manage relationships with distribution partners of the Bank with a view to business growth through the formulation and development of Sales and Marketing strategies to achieve set revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

  • Define business strategy by creating key Intermediary relationships through the identification of new business opportunities to meet or forecast future client needs
  • Form and maintain effective working relationships with senior personnel (including Managing Director / Relationship Directors level) within the Key Accounts, Mortgage Networks and Mortgage Clubs
  • Own and manage relationships specified key firms
  • Collaborate with the Head of Home Finance BDM team to ensure BDM activity is coordinated to fulfil plans agreed with Mortgage Network or Clubs
  • Establish, execute and maintain a regular communications strategy with all distribution partners (face to face, telephone and email)
  • Negotiate and finalise business deals within Gatehouse Bank Shariah-compliant guidelines to effectively market our products
  • Develop a training strategy for our potential and existing partners on the product and service offering from Gatehouse Bank including appropriate customer criteria, terms and relevant procedures
  • Maintain comprehensive records of Client details and relevant pipeline to designated IT systems
  • Conduct and present market research relating to the identification, production and improvement of Gatehouse Bank’s products and procedures, taking into account internal compliance obligations
  • Recommend new products to enhance market penetration
  • Remain cognisant with market trends and competitor propositions
  • Comply with all applicable regulations and laws relating to business development ensuring compliance with the FCA’s Code of Conduct at all times in the execution of duties
  • Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training
  • As the role is national there will be extensive travel required and overnights may be required to effectively discharge the requirements of the role
