Job Summary

This role will cover the full end to end operational process from Application receipt through to Redemption. The role holder will work closely with key stakeholders to understand business and departmental requirements and deliver accurate reporting to enable tracking against KPI’s and business objectives. The requirement for business users to be able to self-serve will be a key delivery requirement.

Key responsibilities

  • To build and distribute daily, weekly & monthly operational performance dashboards to the wider leadership team
  • Create framework and ongoing reporting capability to enable capacity planning & strategy throughout Home Finance Operation functions
  • Produce support and direction for colleague in the roll out of new MI reporting and dashboards
  • To review and analyse all operational MI to identify any deficiencies and provide accurate and comprehensive solutions and recommendations to improve outcomes
  • Production and support of committee packs
  • To identify opportunities to automate existing manual reporting across all business areas
  • To extract and validate data from all key business systems
  • To perform daily quality checks of changing data across Home Operations to assess on-going accuracy and ensure information is correct
  • To collate data and carry out complex data analysis to support any ad-hoc requests
  • To gather reporting requirements from stakeholders and make recommendations to enhance the requested reporting or systems

Skills required

  • Financial services experience, ideally from a mortgage related background
  • Experience in a similar MI or Analytical role
  • Experience using Power BI
  • Proven analytical and report building skills
  • Knowledge of SQL, Visual Basic (VBA) and/or MDX
  • Experience liaising with Senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised, with a flexible approach to work, and the ability to multi-task effectively as part of a team
