Responsible for the overall leadership and delivery of a range of business and technology projects resulting in transformational and operational change.

We offer personal and corporate savings products and finance for UK residential and commercial property, in addition to sourcing and advising on UK real estate investments.

Key responsibilities

  • Working closely with the Head of Change Management and third parties to ensure the successful delivery of Change within the Bank to ensure it is able to meet its strategic and operational aims
  • Delivery of Operational change across the business to ensure successful implementation of transformation initiatives within the department and to drive continuous systems improvement
  • Effectively manage the delivery of business cases for major projects, taking into account the needs of stakeholders, technical strategy, costs, benefits and delivery requirements
  • Ensure projects are approved and progressed in accordance with agreed governance and control frameworks
  • Delivery of fully compliant processes to include brokers, suppliers and customers ensuring that the customer journey is seamless throughout the customer life-cycle through the delivery of best in class service
  • Responsibility for the identification and mitigation of Operational risks in line with the risk appetite set by the Board
  • Identify opportunities to improve business process and implement changes to enhance the customer experience and operational effectiveness
  • Oversight and management of key suppliers to ensure that they continue to provide high quality products and services in line with contractual commitments (including servicing provider, valuations, solicitor panel, software and data providers)
  • Ensure that the governance framework, policies and procedures of all outsourced providers are sufficiently robust
  • Create, monitor, gain approval for and maintain the mandate structure to control the actions of all outsourced providers

Skills required

  • Project Management / Business Change Management experience in cross functional teams in a fast paced working environment
  • Strong understanding of the project life cycle and the ability to apply these concepts in process design, system implementation and the development of key business deliverables
  • Successful stakeholder and supplier management – internal and external
  • Ethical and procedural standards knowledge
