Proof of funds - Savings
Please provide both: A bank statement from the past month showing your savings, AND an explanation about how your savings were accumulated. (please add this in the 'Additional information' section below).
Proof of funds - Gift
Please provide both: A bank statement showing the gift, AND proof of identity (non-certified) for the person giving the gift. Acceptable identity documents include one of the following: Valid Passport, Valid UK Photo Drivers Licence, HM Forces/Police Warrant Card, NI Identity Card, Proof of Residency (if not a UK National).
Proof of funds - Sale of a property
Please provide both: A copy of a letter from the solicitor who dealt with the sale confirming the completion date, AND a copy of the final completion statement showing funds released to you.
Proof of funds - Sale of Company/Shares/Investment
Please provide either: Statement from accountant or solicitor on letterheaded paper with confirmation of sale details, OR an account/portfolio statement showing investment held or contract showing sale.
Proof of funds - Inheritance
Please provide either: A letter from the solicitor on letterheaded paper with confirmation of inheritance details, OR a copy of the will with a Grant of Probate (including value of estate), OR Bank statement evidencing transfer of funds.
If Savings: please provide an explanation of how the savings have been accumulated. If Gift: please provide full name of donor and relationship to the applicant below. If Other: please provide a written summary below.
