Gatehouse Bank helps first time buyer/landlord onto the property ladder

Helping a first time buyer/landlord onto the property ladder can be a challenge, but with our newly revised processes and realigned requirements for supporting documentation, we can ensure the application runs smoothly.

Recently, at Gatehouse Bank, and with the support of the submitting broker, we helped a first time landlord by progressing the case from receiving the application to issuing the offer letter in just nine working days. The Bank was approached by Firoza Ismail, a finance broker at Synergy Commercial Finance, due to our flexible criteria for customers looking to invest in a property for the first time.

Following a conversation between Chris Proudfoot, Business Development Manager here at Gatehouse Bank and Firoza, she packaged the case to a very high standard. This created a smooth process, ensuring that all the required documentation and information was included with the application at the time of submission. This enabled us to provide the customer with an offer letter for a five-year fixed term product at 67% FTV in a prompt nine working days, which is a great result all around.
