Gatehouse Bank named Best Ethical Cash ISA Provider by MoneyComms
Gatehouse Bank has been named the “Best Ethical Cash ISA Provider” in this year’s list of MoneyComms Top Performers 2026 for its range of Woodland Saver Accounts. For every fixed-term deposit or cash ISA Woodland Saver account opened or renewed, the Bank works with Forest Carbon to plant a tree on the customer’s behalf in one of 12 UK woodland projects, which are certified by the government’s Woodland Carbon Code.
The Woodland Carbon Code provides assurance that the trees represent genuine new planting and will deliver the carbon saving claimed. It also ensures that the right type of trees are planted in the right place and that the woodlands are sustainably managed and protected in the long-term.
Now in its 14th year, MoneyComms monitors personal and business finance products and shares the top providers and products, with the aim of helping consumers make better financial choices. Winners within its Top Performers list are selected based on a range of criteria including product rates, features, transparency, simplicity and ease of website navigation.
Gatehouse Bank has previously received the same accolade from MoneyComms in its 2023 and 2024 lists and was named Best Green Savings Provider in 2025. Its Woodland Saver accounts play a key role in the Bank’s wider ESG strategy, reflecting the broader commitment to making a positive environmental impact.
