Gatehouse Bank named UK’s Best Ethical Savings Provider for third year in a row

Gatehouse Bank has been named the UK’s Best Ethical Savings Provider at the 2022 Moneynet Awards.

The Moneynet Personal Finance Awards recognise the best banks and products of the past 12 months.

Gatehouse has won the Best Ethical Savings Provider accolade for three years running.

The Bank has consistently provided competitive fixed-term saving accounts and cash ISAs, and last year, it converted all of these accounts into Woodland Savers. This means a tree is planted for each saving account opened, and the carbon credits are registered on behalf of customers.

Specialist UK ecological company Forest Carbon, which creates and develops woodland and peatlands for carbon capture, is responsible for planting the trees on Gatehouse’s behalf in four locations across Britain.

Ravi Kumar, Senior Product Manager at Gatehouse Bank, said: “We are thrilled to be named as the UK’s best ethical savings provider for the third year running.

“Our Woodland Saver accounts have made an immediate impact since their launch last year, with well over 10,000 trees planted in locations across Britain.

“The award recognises our continued commitment to offering competitive rates and excellent customer service, while also doing our bit to help the environment.”
