Gatehouse Bank awarded Best Islamic Bank for Green Savings and Financing 2025
Gatehouse Bank has received the award of Best Islamic Bank for Green Savings and Financing 2025 in this year’s Global Islamic Finance Awards held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) was founded in 2011 and has grown to become one of the most respected market-led awards in Islamic banking and finance in the world. Each year, it celebrates the achievements of individuals, institutions and governments within the industry while remaining committed to promoting social responsibility.
Gatehouse Bank was awarded the accolade following deliberation by the GIFA Awards Committee, who considered a number of other distinguished nominees within the category. Each nominee was rated against factors including the range of products and services offered, provision of services for an international market, innovation and commitment to the growth of the Islamic finance industry. Additionally, each nominee’s commitment to social and ethical practices played a key role in the consideration process.
