Gatehouse Bank is supportive of the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, which connects Ukrainians and their immediate family members fleeing the war with individuals and organisations willing to offer them accommodation in the UK as non-paying guests.

We want to help make it as simple as possible for homeowners to take part.

If you have financed your property with us and:

  • you live in the property and have been approved to participate in the scheme; or
  • you are a landlord and your tenant has been approved to participate in the scheme

Then please let us know by any of the following means:

  • Within UK: 08000 353 253 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm)
  • Outside UK: +44 20 7070 6960 (Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm UK time)

Post: Gatehouse Bank, PO Box 6379, Milton Keynes, MK10 1DE

Please do not participate if:

  • providing support will affect your ability to afford your household bills and purchase plan payments or put you in financial difficulty
  • you are currently in arrears on your purchase plan payments
  • possession proceedings are underway in respect of your property
  • you are in vulnerable circumstances
  • you believe it is inappropriate in your personal circumstances

If you participate in the scheme:

  • please review the government’s current guidance on the scheme
  • we waive the terms and conditions relating to who may occupy the property to the extent required to allow you to participate in the scheme
  • it is your responsibility to obtain any consent required under any superior lease or, where applicable, grant any consent under your tenancy agreement with your own tenant
  • you may need to notify or obtain the consent of the insurer of the property
  • you must continue to make your purchase payments and comply with your other obligations
  • you must ensure that your guests sign the government’s Excluded Licence Agreement or Excluded Tenancy Agreement, as relevant
  • we will not collect any personal data relating to your guests. Our privacy notice sets out how your personal data will be used
