Homes for Ukraine
Gatehouse Bank is supportive of the UK Government’s Homes for Ukraine scheme, which connects Ukrainians and their immediate family members fleeing the war with individuals and organisations willing to offer them accommodation in the UK as non-paying guests.
We want to help make it as simple as possible for homeowners to take part.
If you have financed your property with us and:
- you live in the property and have been approved to participate in the scheme; or
- you are a landlord and your tenant has been approved to participate in the scheme

- you are in vulnerable circumstances
- you believe it is inappropriate in your personal circumstances
If you participate in the scheme:
- please review the government’s current guidance on the scheme

- it is your responsibility to obtain any consent required under any superior lease or, where applicable, grant any consent under your tenancy agreement with your own tenant
- you may need to notify or obtain the consent of the insurer of the property
- you must continue to make your purchase payments and comply with your other obligations
