What is redemption?
Redemption means ending your finance agreement with us by buying the Bank's share in the property. This can happen for various reasons, such as refinancing to another provider, selling the property, or wishing to own the property outright.
Things to be aware of
You can redeem your finance at any time. However, depending on your product, an Early Redemption Charge (ERC) may apply - especially if you redeem during a fixed rental rate period. Details of any ERC and any other charges will be sent to you in writing at the very start of the process.
Getting Started
When you contact us to redeem your account, we'll start the process right away. We will email you a Redemption Request Letter. This includes key details about your account, such as balances, any applicable fees, and the next steps. A step-by step guide to the full process can be found below.
