Create your action plan

We’ve teamed up with Eco Approach, a nationwide energy efficiency and retrofit specialist established in 2013. Using their GreenVal tool, you can identify energy-saving improvements for your property and create a personalised action plan.

Improving your property's energy efficiency can help lower your energy bills, make your home more comfortable to live in and potentially increase your home’s EPC rating.

If you rent out your property, making improvements now can help you prepare for the upcoming changes to minimum energy efficiency standards which requires all privately rented homes to reach EPC C by 2030.

How to create your action plan

Simply enter your property address and post code to receive personalised recommendations, including:

  • Suggested improvements for your home
  • Potential energy bill savings
  • Estimated improvements to your EPC rating
  • Insights into your property's current energy performance

Once you’ve created your action plan, you can use the platform to:

  • Request quotes and manage your improvement works carried out by Eco Approach and its TrustMark-accredited installers
  • Check your eligibility for grant funding for home improvements
  • Save your action plan for later in the HomeHub
  • View a property report covering the energy efficiency of key features such as the heating and hot water system, windows and walls

Any work arranged through GreenVal is carried out by Eco Approach’s TrustMark-registered installers. If you choose to go ahead, the agreement for the work will be between you and the installer. We won’t be a party to that agreement or responsible for any work carried out.

You’ll be responsible for obtaining any permissions, approvals or planning consent needed before work begins.

Any online estimates are for guidance only. Your final quotation will be confirmed following a survey of your property.
